I installed the triple step on my Phoenix and it works great. I did not have enough tongue space for a non winch post mount. My biggest concern was the step getting in to my bumper in sharp right hand turns but with the Omega the steps are more vertical than the trick step and that gives plenty of clearance.
Like my steps for my tracker but wish they set a little more out from the boat. That’s only because I’m older and with the alignment and my age the last step to the boat is a little awkward. Not enough to keep them from being extremely usable and much easier getting into the boat.
OK, I guess I have to admit that I am now an official member of the Old Fisherman Club. Hit 70's and replaced my butt seat with a folding seat. And it was getting too difficult to climb over the front of the boat to hook up the winch and chain so installed the steps. Now I just grab the handle, step down, hook up, and pull out. Should have done this a years back but I guess I'm also a member of the stubborn old man club.
HIGHLY recommended to make loading boat easier. Quality build, very strong. And you don't have to be old to make use of it.
I called them on phone to make sure I got exactly what I needed and they were very knowledgeable for my boat and trailer and I got exactly what I needed.
It works perfectly!
Made it so much easier to access boat over electronics and trolling motor.
